Black Belt is for the willing!

Even if you have the best instructor and you are training in the best club the Instructor can only tell you what to work on but only you can make the real difference by how much effort you put into your training. Instructors can motivate you and guide you but you have to do the training yourself they can only teach you but they can't train for you.

TRAIN SMARTER BUT ALSO TRAIN HARDER!

Training smarter means working out what you need to work on and doing the necessary training to eliminate your weaknesses and improve your skill. You can't work on everything at the same time so you will need to focus on one or two important elements and then evaluate your progress every couple of weeks.
The most common mistake people make is giving up too early particularly when improvement is slow coming. Persevere! Work hard and persevere and success will come your way. With training you get what you put into it. It is simple - The harder you train the better you will get.

There are no short cuts. If it is worth getting it is worth working for.

Talent can only get you so far. Disciplined hard work is your only guarantee. In training - The journey is as important as the destination and the Black Belt is for the willing!
