World Taekwondo Pty LTD ACN 072 958 680 Insurance Disclosure Statement.

World Taekwondo as a company limited by guarantee has an obligation under requirements of the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) to disclose to members certain information pertaining to the accident insurance that is payable upon enrolment with World Taekwondo.


World Taekwondo arranges insurance policies for its members through Insurance Brokers. World Taekwondo does not receive any form of financial incentive from the broker or underwriter for the provision of the insurance policies. World Taekwondo does not place a surcharge on the fees that it charges its members for the insurance coverage.

The policy includes Public Liability to protect the insured for personal injury and property damage to third parties.

Policy includes Professional Indemnity to protect the insured for breach of professional duty.

Policy includes Member Accident cover to provide certain covers to members for non-Medicare related costs incurred as a result of injuries sustained whilst participating in World Taekwondo activities.

Policy period is from the time of joining up till the end of February of each calendar year.

World Taekwondo does not hold an Australian Financial Services (AFS) licence. Members should consider obtaining their own financial product advice about the insurance from an AFS licensee or their authorised representative.
